ISEES represented by its director, Lovans Owusu-Takyi, participated in the Climate Finance Tracking Workshop organized by the Ministry of Finance Climate Change Unit. ISEES participation was upon invitation by KASA the Ghana CSO platform on climate change.
The workshop was facilitated by Professor Lord who has conducted a climate finance tracking research study from 2010 to 2020 and made significant recommendations on how to efficiently track and manage the climate finance and investment expenses by the government.
The workshop offered an opportunity for CSOs and other public and private sector actors to understand how government and donor expenses on climate finance are tracked and analyzed within the government’s financial management framework and to be able to track the efficiency of government climate investments.
