ISEES staff participated in the 3 day Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition (GISE) of the Association of Ghana Industries held from the 17th to 20th of August 2021 at the International Conference Center in Accra to promote renewable energy among industries and companies in Ghana. ISEES and its subsidiary SETECH exhibited and pitched its clean cooking initiatives at the Start Up Pitch program at the Summit.
The event was aimed at showcasing initiatives by industries, start ups and companies promoting industrial transformation in Ghana. ISEES participation was crucial as part of our efforts to promote sustainability among industries and corporate institutions to adopt and use renewable energy technologies and contribute to sustainable development in Ghana.
The summit was participated by both high level policy makers, industry experts, start ups and corporate institutions who showcased their innovations among others.
The summit was also aimed at preparing industries and companies for the African Continental Free Trade Area and help support industries to understand the challenges posed and be able to participate adequately and compete.
ISEES provides training for industry professionals, youth in sustainability and promotes industrial placements, and the forum provided opportunities for ISEES to liaise with local and Africa wide industries and organizations to improve training collaboration to improve skills training in Ghana at the Institute for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Solutions (Education Unit)
ISEES also used the opportunity to promote sustainability among industries and organizations to enhance access to sustainable energy and environmental conservation
