ISEES ORGANIZES A 3 DAY CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN IN AGROECOLOGY AT THE AYENSUANO-SUHUM-NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPALITIES

A #Capacity #Building workshop on #Agroecology has been organized by the Institute for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Solutions (Isees Ghana) for 85 #women #farmers, women-focused farmer group leaders, and women agricultural extension officers from the #Ayensuano –#Suhum–#Nsawam municipalities at the Sustainability Hub Ghana Conference room at Beposo in Teacher Mante from the 22nd to 24th of May 2024, under the auspices of the 11th Hour Food Sovereignty Fund of RSF Social Finance”, California, USA, Gower Street, UK and Bread for the World, Germany

Participants were trained in #composting #Croprotation #companionplanting, #agroforestry #mulching #integratedpestmanagement #homegardening #production of #organicweedicide #production of #organicinsecticide #mushroomfarming #soapmaking, creams among others.

Participants will be monitored to practice the knowledge gained on their farms and supported

Thanks to the support of the Directors of #Agriculture for the #Ayensuano –#Suhum–#Nsawam #Municipalities, as well as #assemblymen and #extension officers in mobilizing the participants
