ISEES as part of efforts to promote access to clean energy for off-grid communities, households and institutions has supplied and installed a 500w solar system for the Ghana Permaculture Institute in Techiman, Tanobuase. The GPI is at a location without access to electricity behind the Tano grove. The 500 watts solar system will help to supply lighting to the GPI dormitary and classrooms.
ISEES Technology Deployment Unit promotes technology transfer and deployment and marketing of clean technologies.
With the installation, GPI will enjoy clean efficient lighting solutions to improve the education of its students and trainees, provide security in the evenings and promote access to phone charging and watching of television.
ISEES welcomes partnerships to increase access to renewable energy technologies for institutions in Ghana.
