ISEES in partnership with Sustainable Energy Technologies Limited is implementing a clean cooking for local communities project aimed at deploying over 60000 climate-smart improved cookstoves for local communities in the Eastern, Greater Accra, and Ashanti Regions.
The initiative is under the auspices of EKI Energy Services Limited, under a partnership with Sustainable Energy Technologies Limited. ISEES is conducting the education and awareness component of the project including community mobilization and training focused on the benefits of using more improved cookstoves, as well as helping to facilitate the deployment of the improved stoves in grassroots communities. The education includes awareness of clean cooking, climate change, and the protection of trees through the reduction of deforestation.
ISEES continues to seek partnerships with the private sector and development partners to drive access to renewable energy solutions for bottom-of-the-pyramid households in Ghana and Africa.
