As part of efforts to promote district wide sanitation and sustainable energy services, ISEES Associate Enoch Boadu of Dad and Sons Biogas Limited has installed a 50m3 twin biogas digester and an 120m3 Anerobic Baffled Reactor for the Nkawkaw Municipal Abattoir. This is to help improve sanitation and energy generation for the district abattoir.
The installation of the biogas digester is a good example of a public private partnership for sustainable development in Ghana.
